Away Travel Terms & Conditions
These are the conditions of hire of the London Irish Pubs “Pub to Match” service (hereinafter called “London Irish Pubs”). They form the basis of the agreement under which London Irish Pubs agrees to organise travel to matches for London Irish Supporters (hereinafter call ‘the Supporter’).
Payment Terms
Prices quoted are per person, for return travel.
Full payment will normally be taken at the time of booking unless otherwise stated.
Prices quoted are based on providing a coach service for a minimum number of passengers. Unless otherwise stated the minimum number of passengers required is 40.
In the event that the minimum number of passengers is not met, Supporters have the following options:
- An alternative Mini Bus Service will be available subject to a minimum of 13 passengers and be subject to the additional charges which will be payable at the time of booking.
- Supporters not taking the alternative Mini Bus Service will have the option of a full refund.
Confirmation
10-14 days prior to departure, London Irish Pubs will provide confirmation whether the minimum passenger requirements for a coach have been met and finalise departure times. If the minimum numbers have not been met then London Irish Pubs will provide confirmation of the alternative options available.
Unless otherwise stated departure times will allow for arriving at the away ground 2 hours prior to the match and depart 1 hour after the final whistle.
Cancellation by The Supporter
London Irish Pubs reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee on a sliding scale as follows :
- Prior to 7 days of departure – Full refund.
- 3-7 days before departure – 50% of Total Hire Charge.
- Within 3 Days of departure – 100% of Hire Charge.
Cancellation due to inclement weather conditions will be charged as above
Cancellation by London Irish Pubs
In the event of any emergency riot, civil, commotion, strike, lock-out, stoppage or restraint of labourer on the happening of any event over which London Irish Pubs has no control over (adverse weather conditions and the road conditions) or in the event of the Supporters taking action to vary agreed conditions unilaterally. The company may, by returning all money paid and without or other liability, cancel through contract.
Breakdown and Delays
London Irish Pubs gives its advice on journey time in good faith. However, as a result of breakdown or traffic congestion or other events beyond the reasonable control of London Irish Pubs, journeys may take longer than predicted and in those circumstances the company will not be liable for any loss or inconvenience suffered by the Supporter as a result.
Accommodation
Where an overnight stop-over is required it is the responsibility of the Supporter to organise their own accommodation . London Irish Pubs will accept no liabilities for these arrangements.
Loss or Damage to Personal Property
London Irish Pubs will not be responsible for any damage to, or loss of, personal property left in vehicles, howsoever caused.
Liability for Injury
London Irish Pubs will not accept any liability for damage, injury or loss by any passenger standing up or walking around the vehicle whilst in motion.
Passenger Capacity and Seat Belts
No passenger may be carried in excess of the seating capacity of the vehicle and passengers should wear the seat belts provided at all times.
Drivers Hours Regulations
The Supporter undertakes to abide by all statutory requirements and regulations which may in any way affect the journey or itinerary in question. Drivers are familiar with these regulations however they will conform to any reasonable request made by members of the party.
Damage to Company Vehicles
The private hire vehicles organised by London Irish Pubs are constructed and adapted to transport seated passengers only and standing on seats or use of roofs for viewing races, etc is not permitted. The actual Supporter will be responsible for, and shall indemnify London Irish Pubs against any damage caused to the vehicle(s) as a result of negligence, wilful or otherwise, and/or malice due to the action the Supporter.
Returnable Additional Deposits
London Irish Pubs reserves the right to insist upon a returnable additional deposit being provided by the hirer in addition to the hire charge. This deposit will be returned to the Supporter following completion of the hire provided that no additional expenses were incurred by London Irish Pubs which were a direct result of the Supporters’ actions.
Additional Charges
London Irish Pubs reserve the right to impose additional charges on the Supporter following completion of the travel if the Supporter has left the vehicle in an unreasonably untidy condition or having required additional time or mileage which was not included for in the originally booking.
No Smoking Policy
SUPPORTERS SHOULD NOTE THAT THIS COMPANY OPERATES A STRICTLY NO SMOKING POLICY ON ALL COACHES.
Booking transport to matches – Implies acceptance of all the above conditions.
Complaints
In the event of complaint about London Irish Pub’s services, the supporter should endeavour to seek a solution at the time by seeking assistance from the driver or from London Irish Pubs. If this has not provided a remedy, complaints should be submitted in writing and with 7 days of the termination of the hire. No correspondence will be entered into unless we are notified within the time specified. Email info@londonirishpubs.co.uk
